Highly Anticipated American Thriller, Claws, by Screenwriter, Producer and Author Ozzie Cheek, Available Today From Premier Digital Publishing
Available now as an eBooks exclusively for Amazon Kindle and in print in November, 2012
(Los Angeles, CA) October 25, 2012 – Premier Digital Publishing is pleased to announce the launch of the highly anticipated American thriller Claws by screenwriter, producer and author Ozzie Cheek. Ozzie Cheek has been a writer for HBO, Showtime, NBC, CBS, and Fox. He wrote and produced the TV movie Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye and is the co-author of Why Planes Crash, the memoir of an aviation investigator, published in 2011. Claws is a heart-stopping action adventure about a small Idaho town stalked by wild animals – lions, tigers, and giant cats called ligers that threaten the town’s survival. Jackson, the Police Chief, must stop the killer cats and cope with America’s first public lion safari, while trying to unravel the mystery of the animal’s escape and catch the people who would stand to profit from seeing his home and life destroyed.
“With Claws I set out to write a thriller novel, a story that is part mystery, romance, horror, and adventure, a book meant to keep you turning pages and to keep you asking – then what happens?, said Ozzie Cheek. “What I hope will happen is that these killer cats – ligers are real and nearly twice the size of a lion or tiger – make the eastern Idaho hills as scary as a shark once made the beaches of New England. What I didn’t count on was caring so much about the damn cat, Kali, the mother liger. What I didn’t know is that caring would be Claws biggest thrill.”
“We are very excited to publish this thrilling adventure story by Ozzie Cheek,” said Thomas Ellsworth, CEO and Chairman, of Premier Digital Publishing. “Claws is a fascinating and thrilling story that will keep readers enthralled by these fantastic hybrid cats!
Cheek’s prose has been hailed as intensely atmospheric and that his story that owes its vividness to the detail to the emotional depth and authenticity of Cheek’s characters. Claws is Cheek’s first title from Premier Digital Publishing. Claws is available now as an eBook and will be available in print format in November, 2012. For more information on Claws, please visit:
